Identity Management

Identity and access management projects in banks and insurance companies need more than tool expertise: role models, regulatory requirements (BaFin, BSI, MaRisk) and technical implementation have to come together – and someone has to lead the project when things get tight.

Identity management means the right people have the right access – verifiable, automated and audit-proof. I support banks and insurance companies from strategy and tool selection through to migration and stable operation.

What I take care of for you

Six building blocks that I take on individually or as a complete project – practical, vendor-independent and designed for regulated environments.

Identity Strategy & Concept

As-is analysis, target vision, roadmap and decision paper – translating regulatory requirements into implementable architecture.

Tool Selection & Implementation

Requirements catalogue, market comparison, proof of concept and rollout – vendor-neutral and field-proven.

Role & Permission Models

Permission structures, rule sets and demonstrable compliance – cleanly designed and audit-proof.

Migration & Legacy Replacement

Moving grown legacy landscapes onto a central identity platform – with parallel operation and a fallback path.

Audit, Compliance & Operations

Recertification processes and robust reporting for auditors and regulators – permanently anchored in operations.

Project Rescue

Stalled identity projects: sorting out risks, re-planning and driving them to completion with clear communication.

How I work

01

Analysis

Capturing the current landscape, processes and risks – including the question of what the real problem is.

02

Concept

Target vision, role model and implementation plan with reliable effort estimates and clear priorities.

03

Implementation

Project management, steering of service providers and vendors, quality assurance, test and migration planning.

04

Handover & Operations

Documentation, training, handover to regular operations – a solution that keeps running without me.

Frequently asked questions

The questions I am asked most often in an initial consultation.

Do you work vendor-independently?

Yes. I know the common identity management platforms on the market and their limits – but I am not tied to any vendor.

Consulting or also project management?

Both: concept and strategy, project management – or rescuing an ongoing project when it gets stuck.

Do you work remotely or on site?

Both – depending on the project phase. Concept work is often done remotely; in critical phases I am on site.

How quickly can you start?

Short-notice starts are possible depending on the project situation. A first conversation is non-binding and free of charge.

Let's talk.

I'll be glad to support you – professionally, reliably and at eye level.
